Policy Support for Women's Role in SDGs Goals

The Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) encourages the role of women in realising the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Women are agents of change who have the power to reduce inequality and increase justice around the world. On the other hand, women still have to fight against structural barriers that hinder their full participation in all aspects of life.

Hal tersebut menjadi topik bahasan utama dalam side event Indonesia International Sustainability Forum (ISF) 2024, konferensi internasional Nura Women’s Institute yang melibatkan Kadin Indonesia pada 6 September 2024.

The event is expected to be a strong platform to build collaboration among the government, private sector, civil society, and academia.

These groups have an important role to play in eliminating challenges to gender equality and promoting positive social transformation.

This platform for cross-generational and cross-cultural dialogue on the role of women in the SDGs encourages the creation of policies and initiatives that support the integration of women in the sustainable development agenda.
